With Hurricane Laura strengthening as it approaches the Texas/Louisiana border, Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 151 (FBCMUD 151) wants to reassure all Firethorne residents that it is monitoring the situation in conjunction with the District’s operator, Inframark.

Stormwater is precipitation that does not soak into the ground, but instead runs off the surface. As stormwater flows over driveways, lawns, and sidewalks, it may pick up debris, chemicals, dirt and other pollutants.
Best Trash will collect one (1) 95-gallon container per household and no more than 5 trash bags (not heavier than 40 lbs.) on the ground or 1 (one) container between 30-50 gallons in size. The 5 extra bags can include household waste or yard waste. Heavy/Bulky items should be limited to one per collection day.
