District Update: Garbage Collection Survey Results (No Changes At This Time)
Last month, the Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District 151 (FB MUD 151) Board of Directors sent out a survey to obtain residents’ opinions on potentially changing the residential waste collection dates. This survey was initiated based on inquiries from the members of the community about the collection schedule, and the Board wanted to receive input from the Firethorne residents before taking any action.
Overwhelmingly, the residents of Firethorne requested the collection days remain as they are, as outlined in the graph above. 348 responses were entered in the 11 days the survey ran, and 75.3% of residents preferred no changes to the current schedule.
FB MUD 151 would like to thank all the residents that took the time to provide this valuable feedback, and based on the resident input the garbage collection schedule will remain on Wednesday and Saturday.
