The Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 151 (FBCMUD 151) Board of Directors would like to remind residents of the information posted to the District website in regards to hurricane awareness and preparedness, ahead of TS Beryl making landfall Monday morning, July 8 2024.

The FBCMUD 151 Board of Directors would like to also reiterate for residents: streets are meant to be additional water conveyance methods when the amount of rainfall exceeds the storm drain and detention capacities. Residents should not drive into or through deep water, per the NOAA, TDEM, and FEMA guidance of βTurn Around, Donβt Drownβ.
In preparation for Tropical Storm Beryl, the fuel tanks to all generators for the water and sewer system have been topped off with fuel. Field personnel are ready and there are storm shelters with water and SIPPS for the personnel that are on duty during the storm.
