• Leaves and Debris: Remove fallen leaves, branches, and trash from the curb inlets near your home.

• Bag the Clippings: Never blow yard waste, grass clippings, or leaves into the street. They act as a plug for storm drains during heavy rain.

Secure the Yard

• Yard Maintenance: Trim back weak tree branches that could snap during high winds and block drainage pathways.

• Lightweight Items: Secure patio furniture, trash cans, and outdoor decor so they aren’t swept into the street or drainage system during a sudden storm.
