Fort Bend County MUD 151 is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. The District exclusively serves the Firethorne neighborhood, and we are seeking a qualified, civic-minded Firethorne resident to fill this position.

Director Shipley recently resigned from the MUD Board to focus on commitments to the Katy ISD School Board. The District extends its sincere gratitude to Director Shipley for years of dedicated service to our community and wishes him the best in his ongoing public service.

About the MUD Board

The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and oversight of the water, sewer, drainage, and recreational infrastructure within the Firethorne community. Serving as a Director is an important opportunity to contribute to the management of our neighborhood’s critical services and long-term infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Be a resident of State of Texas.
• Own land subject to taxation in District, or be qualified voter in District.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
