Water Service Update
As you know, we are experiencing a severe weather event in the Texas region. Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather, we are experiencing power issues throughout the area. With that in mind, it will be expected that the District’s facilities may experience intermittent outages throughout the day and into the week. We are monitoring all of our systems and are aware of these issues. Unfortunately, we do not have control over local power, but we have generator power. The water interconnect is open, which may cause some brown water within the system but is still usable.
Generator refueling is to take place in the morning, barring any further degradation of road conditions.
